Tammy Slater

After graduating high school I worked in the Personal Care Industry assisting people with disabilities in their homes as well as working in aged care.

I have worked in the Legal industry for over 15 years and spent ten of them at Gill & Lane Solicitors.

Areas of law that I have worked in include Wills, Estate Litigation, and Family Law however I have most recently spent time as a receptionist.

The best part of my job is our client’s stories, making a will or the death of a loved one often coincides with our clients reflecting on theirs or their loved ones life. These stories are always interesting, sometimes funny, sometimes sad or an absolute tragedy, tissues are a must in our meeting rooms.

I am a mum to three children who are all funny, interesting, and slightly naughty humans that I love dearly!

I am the Secretary and Registrar of the Brighton Roosters Junior Rugby league Club – my goal is for local kids to have fun playing rugby league and to keep lobbying various government bodies for new facilities at our Club.

When I am not at the Club, I will be reading whatever book I can find or dreaming of my next travel adventure.

I love to travel off the beaten track with just a backpack and immerse myself in whatever culture I find myself in.
