Over 20 years ago, I started my career journey as a legal secretary and conveyancer and quickly discovered I had a natural inclination for the law.
I wanted to learn and do more, so I became a lawyer in 2016 and worked in property law (my favourite) and body corporate law. Since then, I have facilitated many commercial and residential property transactions all across Australia for individuals, companies, bodies corporate and government.
I recently branched out into estate planning and really enjoy helping my clients – young, old and in-between – fulfil their objectives in light of their own unique circumstances.
My individual clients say they like working with me because I am patient and supportive and they feel comfortable talking with me and asking questions. My corporate clients say they like working with me because I am efficient and practical and use plain English. I take pride in working with all of my clients to achieve the best outcome for them in a cost-effective manner. This gives them peace of mind to know they can rely on me to deliver straightforward advice and practical solutions.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active. I run and am addicted to playing netball, but will give anything a go – most recently competitive sailing in beautiful Moreton Bay!
Gill & Lane is a division of Murdoch Lawyers, and I can also connect my clients with accredited specialists and other experienced professionals across multiple practice areas, including family law, future planning, business and employment law and dispute resolution. I am committed to making a difference in the community through engagement and involvement and by providing access to exceptional legal services.
